Who we are

Haven Lagos operates this website and takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect when you browse, book, or contact us, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Booking details: your name, email, phone number, stay or reservation dates, party size, and any notes or requests you send us.
• Payment information: payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference, but we do not store your full card details.
• Reviews: the name and content you choose to submit if you leave a review.
• Usage data: basic technical information (such as device and pages visited) to keep the site working and secure.

How we use it

• To take and manage your bookings and send you confirmations and updates.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide the service you asked for.
• To publish reviews you submit, once approved.
• To keep the site secure and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with the providers that help us run Haven Lagos, for example our payment processor and email provider, and only as needed to deliver the service. We may disclose information where required by law.

Cookies & measurement

Some cookies are necessary: they keep your booking together while you move through the steps, and remember the choice you make below. These are always on, because the site cannot take a booking without them.

With your agreement, we also use the Meta Pixel to understand which of our adverts lead to bookings. If you accept, it records the pages you view here and whether you go on to book, and reports that to Meta Platforms Ireland. If you decline, it is never loaded and nothing is sent from your browser. You are asked once, and can change your mind by clearing this site's cookies.

When a booking is paid for, we also send Meta a record of that purchase from our own server so we can measure our advertising accurately. Your email address and phone number are irreversibly scrambled (SHA-256 hashed) before they leave us. Meta receives a code it can match against its own records, never your actual details. This happens for paid bookings whether or not you accepted the cookie above, because it is how we account for money we have spent on advertising; if you would rather we did not, write to us and we will exclude you.

Retention & your rights

We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing havenbylustro@gmail.com.
